Excellent place to stay the agency and rental property is the best

1. We rented this property with the expectation that there was an outdoor shower. It said it very clearly in the listing. The outside shower was a hose with a spigot attached. Not an outdoor shower. Clearly a "bait and switch" situation. We'd communicated to Arthur Rue that we would only rent a house with an outdoor shower and got the owner's second rate version of an outdoor shower. As the renting agency it is your responsibility to verify that what is listed for the property is actually what the property includes. Otherwise you are complicit in false advertising. 2. The property was dirty and unsafe. We didn't discover this right away, but not only did the couch have boards underneath it, but someone had vomited previously and the remnants of the vomit were inside and none of us could sit on that couch due to the smell. In addition, there are cracked tiles in the upstairs bathroom and our friend who stayed in that space cut her foot on them.Pictures available.3. In the category of unsafe, the knob on the oven had no markings for temperature control. This may be a fire code violation.4. The toilet paper holder in the downstairs bath was held there with bandaids.5. Vents and switches were rusted, wall paper was peeling, rugs had brown stains, toilet seats were cracked and it was an utter mess. All of this has been communicated to Arthur Rue and we have yet to receive a reply. Very poor communication.

Third year renting this property. Great location and John the owner also available. However, Would like to see update couches are the cushions are old and hard.

As always, me and my family enjoyed our stay! John the owner is always available when needed.

Location was great especially for families with children the bay beach was great. We used pier and beach daily. Unit needs updating and deep cleaning. Found a lot of dust and pet hair upon arrival. Shared laundry was inconvenient had to check multiple times a day for open washer. Overall our family had a nice vacation. Unit fit 2 families with children easily.

This is the second year I have rented this unit. John the owner is very helpful with any issues or concerns we had. This is a great rental for large family gatherings. Plenty of room. Could use some updating. Great location for families overlooking the bay. Overall great experience. Will be back again next summer.
